Fundraising for charities

Over the last 2 months, secondary school students took part in some fundraising initiatives for this worthy cause, selling bands, participating in sponsored runs and  sponsored reading. We wish to thank everyone who contributed to this. The pupils who took part in key stage 3 (and some Primary) learnt wider world values and felt a sense of community spirit. 2,585,92 euros were collected and will be sent to “Save the Children” and “Mensajeros de la Paz”, with an aim to help the Syrian and Turkish people rebuild their lives, after the devastating earthquake.
