Last 24th November, over 50 pupils and teachers from our school, The British College, took part in the exciting Holiday World Race in Benalmádena, competing in the 5km, 10km and Half-Marathon races. The event was a celebration of community, fitness and determination, with all participants showing incredible effort and enthusiasm.
For many, it was a social occasion to enjoy the experience with family and friends. Others showcased outstanding athletic performance, with four of our pupils achieving podium finishes in their respective categories:
– María Alarcón: 3rd in the 10km sub23 category.
– Erica Portales: 2nd in the 10km sub16 category.
– Alexia Vieira: 2nd in the 5km sub23 category
– Elinor Tummi: 2nd in the 5km sub12 category
A huge congratulations to these outstanding runners and to everyone who participated in making this event such a success. It was a wonderful day of fun, fitness and school spirit!
