On Tuesday 18th June we held a very exciting event called “International Day”. The students from Years 7 and 8 were able “to travel” to different countries from around the world. This involved experiencing the culture and traditions of a given country, including language and literature, food, currency, landmarks, games, as well as music and dance. They learnt what it is to be a global citizen and by the end of the day the students had completed a “passport” to record this event. This “document” will be used for future “International Days” that we will organise.
The sixth form students very much enjoyed contributing and supporting their younger peers in this fun filled event.
