Mr. Nick Gibb, Minister of State of Education for school standards, from the United Kingdom, accompanied by Ms Hannah Crawford, from the International Education Division of the Department for Education and Mr Simon Fairweather, Head of the Political Team from the British Embassy in Madrid, visited our school, on Friday 26th October.
They met our senior management team lead by Mrs. Pilar Sainz, the Principal of The British College of Benalmádena – The British School of Málaga, in order to discuss different aspects of the British education, following the National Curriculum, provided by a successful British school in Spain.
Mr Gibb spoke with teachers and pupils from the youngest classes of the primary school to the students in the sixth form.
It was a unique experience for our school and we feel extremely honoured for having been chosen for such a special visit as well as very proud for the comment that Mr Gibb made about our school via twitter, even more when the British Ambassador, Mr Simon Manley, re tweeted his comment.
