On Thursday 23rd March, our Year 13 students, as part of their university orientation programme, attended the open day at Malaga University, accompanied by their form teacher.
Every year, the “UMA” (University of Málaga), on its “Teatinos” campus, sets up stalls where they provide informative talks about the degrees that the university offers, to sixth form students.
Isabel Domínguez, who was a student at our school from Nursery to Year 13 and is now a law student in Malaga, was one of the students selected by the university to organise the talks of all grades; we are so proud of her. Our students participated in several talks, that included question and answer sessions, and emphasised how useful it had been for them to have students from different degrees answering their questions. Their opinion at the end of the visit was that it had been extremely interesting and productive.
