On Friday 9th February, Year 3 were the hosts of the assembly, the theme of which was “The Tudors”. The children were amazing, speaking with wonderfully clear voices and excellent pronunciation. They were really excited to show their parents all that they had learned and to make them proud, which we are sure they did. All the songs were sung with passion and obvious enjoyment, especially those related to the six wives of Henry VIII and his flagship the “Mary Rose”. Along with the musical elements of the performance, the poetry was simply outstanding. It was truly a triumph and a pleasure to witness. Well done Year 3!
