Year 6 recently enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to Parque de las Ciencias in Granada, one of Spain’s most impressive interactive science museums. The visit gave the children the opportunity to explore a wide range of scientific topics through hands-on exhibits and engaging demonstrations.
During the trip, the children visited several fascinating exhibitions covering areas such as the human body, physics, space, and technology. One of the highlights of the day was the Planetarium, where pupils experienced an immersive journey through space and learned about how light travels.
The children also explored the Dinosaur Exhibition, where they discovered more about prehistoric life on Earth. Pupils were fascinated by the life-sized models and fossil displays, which helped them learn about how dinosaurs lived, what they ate, and how scientists study fossils to understand the past.
Throughout the day, the children demonstrated curiosity, enthusiasm, and excellent behaviour while engaging with the interactive displays. The trip provided a fantastic opportunity to bring classroom learning to life and deepen their understanding of science in a fun and memorable way.
Year 6 returned to school full of excitement and new knowledge, making this a truly memorable learning experience for everyone involved.
