Recently, our Years 10 and 11 students enjoyed an unforgettable four-day ski trip to Sierra Nevada. It offered a fantastic opportunity for students to learn new skills and develop their confidence on the slopes. Over the week, they worked hard to enhance their skiing technique, with many making impressive progress regardless of their previous experience.
For some of them, the trip was very valuable, as the skills they developed will contribute to their PE coursework. It was great to see them applying themselves so positively.
The ski monitors were excellent as they were supportive and encouraging, helping every student to feel comfortable while continuing to challenge them to improve. Our students also represented the school brilliantly, showing excellent behaviour and a positive attitude.
In addition, the group had the chance to visit Granada. We explored the historic Albaicín neighbourhood and enjoyed stunning views of the Alhambra, where students took some memorable photos.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience filled with sport, culture and great memories for everyone involved.
