The Year 5 classes recently invited parents to attend one of their assemblies. This time, the assembly focused on the Vikings. The children displayed their amazing singing and performances, showcasing all they have learned during this term about the Vikings and the Anglo-Saxons, by singing songs and acting as Viking gods and Anglo-Saxon characters. It was not only an assembly but a musical play as well.
After the assembly, the children showed their parents all the work they have been completing during their history and art lessons this term, all based on the Vikings. The children were very enthusiastic, and confident and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They certainly made their teachers and parents extremely proud.
