A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE CHARITY “FOUNDATION EMALAIKAT” VISITS THE BRITISH COLLEGE

On 12th November, we held an assembly with the primary students, as well as some students representing  the secondary school,  to welcome a representative from the charity “Foundation Emalaikat”. She gave a presentation about the work they do in Ethiopia with deprived children, so that our pupils felt proud of their collaboration and could see how the money they donated will help to improve the life of other children who sadly do not have anything.

She also collected the 564€ raised at Halloween, plus 436€ donated by the school, so that with 1000 €, the charity can build a well in the Ethiopian village where they work.
