Friday 29th May saw the final Drama show of the year – the After School Drama Club performance of “Wizard of Oz”.
The performance involved students from Year 6-10 and the set was designed and built by Year 9 and the art teacher.
The cast were amazing in their roles, having created fantastic costumes and makeup and the performance went very smoothly. The audience loved watching as the Dorothy (the two “actrices”), the Scarecrow, Tin man and Lion fought the Wicked Witch and revealed the true identity of the Wizard of Oz, all in a bid to get Dorothy home. With Munchkins, Monkeys, Good and Bad witches and the Yellow Brick road there was something for everyone!
