BEEKEEPING WORKSHOP

Beekeeping workshop 1

On Thursday 26th November, years 3R, 3G and 3Y took part in a beekeeping workshop run by specialists. The children were able to see part of a hive that was brought to the school in a special, safe container and received plenty of information about the life and activities of the bees. It was explained to them how bees make honey and wax, and they even made little candles. They also had the opportunity to try some honey.

The children fully enjoyed such an exciting, educational activity.
