International women’s day

On Friday 8th March, our students took part in various activities throughout the day,  in order to commemorate  “International Women´s Day”. Many members of the staff wore purple, the colour of the original suffragettes who fought for women´s rights. The different  classes created wonderful displays and decorated the classrooms’ windows, to raise awareness of the importance of that day, Also, in a morning assembly, some Year 10 girls represented the students’ voice by exposing  their ideas on the positive core values that that day promotes.
