KEITH WALSH, A PREVIOUS STUDENT OF THE BRITISH COLLEGE OF BENALMÁDENA, GRADUATED FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF BRISTOL WITH A BACHELOR DEGREE OF MEDICINE AND A BACHELOR DEGREE OF SURGERY

We feel extremely proud to inform all our educational community that the University of Bristol has sent us a letter saying that our previous student , Keith Walsh, who studied with us during all his primary and secondary education, including his A Levels, has graduated from such a prestigious University with a Bachelor Degree of Medicine and a Bachelor Degree of Surgery.

Keith, who has always kept in touch with us through e-mails and even visiting us frequently, was an exemplary student, not only from the academic point of view but also from a personal one, always willing to help any student who needed it, and even helping the little ones by collaborating with the Reception class teachers.

We are sure that his future as a doctor will be brilliant, as much as for his great intellectual capacity as for his generosity and his human qualities.

He knows how much we appreciate him and how proud we feel of him.

CONGRATULATIONS, KEITH, AND YOU KNOW THAT HERE IS STILL YOUR HOME!

Here are two extracts from two lovely e-mails that Keith sent to our deputy head, Miss Amaya Lorenzo, who was also one of his teachers:

“ Hi Amaya,

I have really enjoyed my time at University but I feel like I’m ready to get into the big bad world. I’ve been in education a long time so I’m looking forward to putting all of what I’ve learnt to good use. I feel like I’ve come a long way since that first day in the British College in Year 5. I do have to thank the British College (and especially you) for helping me get to where I am today. I really do appreciate all you have done for me over the years and I hope that you all continue to do such a great job with all of your future students. I look back fondly at my time in Torremuelle and I would like to stay in contact with yourself and Dona Pilar for many years to come. That’s my sentimental speech over. Haha.

I look forward to hearing back from you and please pass on my hello to your mum and the rest of the family.

Lots of love,

Keith xx “

“I’ve only just started my career and already love it. Yes its hard work, yes it can be incredibly stressful, but the opportunities are endless and it opens so many doors in so many countries where you can do plenty of exciting and fulfilling things.

All the best,

Keith x “
