Mathematics week in primary

Maths week in primary has been a great success. The activities have enhanced the children’s thinking and math problem solving skills, intriguing them and challenging them to discover more about the exciting world of Mathematics.
The plethora of activities planned by the teachers for the children from Nursery to Year 6 during the week have been full of fun filled learning opportunities.
The children have enjoyed participating in many practical activities and working collaboratively both in pairs and in small groups. We adopted a cross curricular approach and the work produced has been outstanding.
The children are proud of their achievements and are now enjoying seeing their hard work on display in school celebrating their learning.
