MONEY RAISED ON "MUFTI" DAY

The money raised on “Mufti” Day (256,60 ?) on 31st October, when all the students and teachers came to school dressed up with a Halloween costume, was collected by Mrs. Lorena Fernández, a mother of two students in the school who collaborates with the Foundation Emalaikat (www.fundacionemalaikat.es) which does humanitarian work in Ethiopia. Mrs. Lorena Fernández  has been recently in Muketuri and in Mechella Andode with a group of opticians. They gave visual checkups to the children of the school that this Foundation has there. They also provided glasses to those who needed them, so that they can lead a normal life like the rest of the children.

The money we raised was donated to CENTRO MATERNO INFANTIL SAN PABLO APOSTOL. The donation is used to pay a school for 25 children during a month, meal and milk for their breakfast.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!
