One more sporting event of the year took place in Cártama, where 50 students from The British College participated in the International Schools’ Athletics Tournament held in the sports arena of Cártama.
11 schools took part in the event and our students did not let us down, pairing power and endurance with technical accuracy. The students produced some remarkable results:
- Daniel Bosman: 1st on 400 meters
- Y7 Relay 4×100 meters team: 1st place
- Pilar Parra: 1st shot put
- Paula Galán: 1st javelin
- Manuel Barrios: 2nd 100 meters
- Kelly Igwemadu: 2nd triple jump
- Pilar Parra: 2nd triple jump
plus a long list in 3rd and 4th place.
