Our first sporting event of the year took place on Wednesday 16th November. 33 boys and girls from The British College participated in the International Schools Football Tournament which this year was held at Algeciras FC Academy Centre.
Our students, who consistently attended a 6 week preparation programme led by Mr. Miranda, Mr. Wolfram and Mr. Perry, thoroughly enjoyed the day and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and behaviour both on and off the pitch. This year all teams improved their results by finishing in 2nd (U13 boys and girls) and 3rd position (U19 boys). All students expressed their satisfaction with the atmosphere created around the preparation and competition and are looking forward to continuing to improve their skills for upcoming tournaments.
