STUDENTS FROM THE BRITISH COLLEGE TOOK PART IN THE LOCAL SCHOOLS ATHLETICS OLYMPICS TOURNAMENT HELD IN BENALMÁDENA ON 17th MARCH

The British College was invited to participate in the athletics event that the local council of Benalmádena holds every academic year. Our students spent a whole day sharing their fantastic sport ethos with peers and site staff alike.

They did not only enjoy their participation but also displayed a fantastic sportsmanship, leaving a mark on the event manager who in return dedicated a special congratulation to our students. Their performance is an example of dedication and genuine passion for sport:

  • Marco Tadeo: Gold medal on javelin
  • Candela Arroyo: Gold medal on long jump
  • Cecilia Bosman: Gold medal on high jump
  • Aitor Granero: Silver medal on shot put
  • Antonio Vidal: Silver medal on 100 meters
  • Alejandro Nieto: Silver medal on javelin
  • Kimberly Boberg: Silver medal on javelin
  • Pedro Guerrero: Bronze medal on long jump
  • Macarena Pérez: Bronze medal on javelin
  • Cosme Barris: Bronze medal on 800 meters

The event ended with a traditional picnic at Parque de la Paloma where all students could enjoy the sunshine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
