Talk about addictions

On Friday 9th November, Doctor Carlos Sánchez Menéndez, a psychiatrist specialised in addictions, gave a talk to our year 9 and 10 students about the terrible effects of alcohol and drugs.

As teachers, we cannot ignore that in our society sometimes adolescents have to face situations that jeopardise their health and welfare. It is our duty to guide them and make them see the enormous risks of taking the wrong path. Helping them to get to know how to take in every circumstance the correct decision is something essential for their education.

We will continue with this type of talk; we are confident this  will contribute to making them be healthy, responsible and wise, teenagers, youngsters and, in the future, adults.
