Another fantastic sporting event took place in Marbella, where a selection of boys and girls from The British College participated in the International Schools’ Basketball Tournament.
Our U13 team (Year 7 and Year 8) demonstrated how much they love this sport by showing their full potential over 5 games. Our girls and boys thoroughly enjoyed the day and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and behaviour both on and off the court. Special mention to our boys’ team who won 4 games and lost only one by 1 point (!) finishing in a meritorious second position.
The girls’team was composed of Isabel Alberro, Sofía Barriga, Marina López, Mar Villazón, Pilar Parra, María Gómez, Paula Galán, Nadia Cillóniz, Isabel Domínguez and Jennifer Daly. The boys’ team was composed of Alejandro Sánchez, Pablo González, Massimo Sagripanti, Héctor Sánchez, Manuel Barrios and Pepe Nan.
