TRIP TO BERLIN

On Thursday, 1st December, 28 of our GCSE and A Level history students, accompanied by their two teachers, set off on a five-day trip to Berlin, Germany.

This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to visit at first hand, memorials, museums and exhibitions that are relevant to topics they study in history. These included The Holocaust Memorial Museum, Checkpoint Charlie, Sachenhausen, The Reichstag and Postdamer Platz. There was even time left over from the week’s busy schedule to enjoy the world famous Christmas markets !

The students agreed that the trip was a tremendous success and helped bring history to life.
