TRIP TO LONDON OF THE YEAR 12 & 13 STUDENTS

A compulsory part of the A Level Drama and Theatre Studies course is to watch a live theatre show from a set time period. In order to meet the course requirements, the A Level students who do this subject travel every year to London with their teacher. This year the trip took place from 29th April to 2nd May. They watched “Romeo and Juliet” and “The Merchant of Venice” at the Globe Theatre, as well as a West End show, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time”. They also attended a Shakespeare workshop and a tour of the Globe Theatre and exhibition centre.

Of course, they went on a tour of the city, visiting its emblematic monuments, beautiful parks and unique attractions. A fantastic trip that they will never forget.
