Last Friday, Year 2 presented a fantastic assembly for their parents.
The children demonstrated what they have learnt in their history topics this year, such as “The Great Fire of London” and the trips of different explorers, including the astronaut Neil Armstrong landing on the moon. The assembly was greatly enhanced by music, poetry and art work. The children´s singing was particularly impressive as they sung “in a round”, combining two vocal arrangements in one song, as well as performing a song with official English sign language.
It was an amazing assembly which left everyone feeling very proud indeed!
Well done to all of the Year 2 children.
